Life Update on Motsei Shabbas

I normally don't use this as a personal blog for the purposes of journaling, but there are things I'd like to record and I find it useful to publish these thoughts online for the purpose of making the communication more directed and efficient.

Tonight is March 10, 2012, motsei shabbas 17th adar 5772, and it has been an eventful week.  Last weekend I spent at Indiana University in Bloomington visiting my close friend Julia Spiegel – and where I had the chance to partake in some extraordinary and amazing activities, full of surprises.  This past week was also Purim, likewise exciting.  I am looking forward to Sunday (tomorrow) on which I do not have to teach as usual at the synagogue on account of Purim Carnival, and it is also my mother's birthday (I am cooking for her), and my friend Justin Eisenberg is stopping through Chicago on his way up from WashU to Milwaukee for Spring Break, and a few Camp JRF friends will also be hanging out in Evanston.  In a few days will be my birthday as well as my sister's.  It's that season!  This is why it is especially true for my family, "Mi she'nichnas Adar, marbim b'simcha".

Oh and did I mention Bonnaroo.
